Zehnder Group acquires remaining 25% stake in ventilation company Caladair

Graenichen (CH), 06 March 2024: Zehnder Group (SIX: ZEHN), a leading international provider of complete solutions for a comfortable, energy-efficient and healthy indoor climate, acquires the remaining 25% stake in Zehnder Caladair International SAS in Mâcon (FR). In October 2021, Zehnder Group already acquired a majority stake of 75% in Caladair thereby strategically expanding its ventilation product portfolio to include large-scale units for commercial buildings and apartment blocks. Caladair products are distributed via established sales channels in Zehnder Group’s various markets. In the last two years since Zehnder Group acquired a majority stake, Caladair has developed positively and achieved sales of around EUR 15.0 million in 2023 (compared to approximately EUR 10 million sales in the financial year 2020). In addition, the existing customer base was further strengthened. Caladair develops, manufactures, and sells energy-efficient ventilation and thermodynamic systems, primarily for commercial buildings. Zehnder Group plans to further expand this business area and continue to grow in the ventilation segment.
