Zehnder Group AG announces completion of share buyback programme for registered shares A

Graenichen (CH), 19 September 2023: Zehnder Group AG (SIX: ZEHN), a leading international provider of complete solutions for comfortable, energy-efficient and healthy indoor climate, announced today that it has completed its share repurchase programme of registered shares A which was launched on 24 March 2021. Since the start of its buyback programme, Zehnder Group AG has successively repurchased a total of 487,800 registered shares A, corresponding to 5% of all registered shares A.

The total value of the share repurchase is CHF 34,270,602 and the average purchase price per registered share A amounts to CHF 70.26. At the upcoming Annual General Meeting on 11 April 2024, the Board of Directors intends to propose the cancellation of the registered shares A of Zehnder Group AG that were acquired under the buyback programme by means of a capital reduction.

Strategic flexibility for future investments and acquisitions of Zehnder Group AG remains guaranteed, even after completion of the share repurchase programme. As at the end of June 2023, Zehnder Group continued to maintain a strong balance sheet with a high equity ratio of 62% and net liquidity of EUR 24.3 million.
