Change in Executive Board

Tipp24 AG: Jens Schumann retires from Executive Board
Jens Schumann (36), joint founder and Chairman of the Executive Board of Tipp24 AG, is to leave the company for personal reasons as of 30 September 2009. He will continue to assist Tipp24 in an advisory capacity. Schumann took the decision in coordination with the Supervisory Board and Executive Board, and leaves on amicable terms.

From the beginning of the fourth quarter, and until further notice, Dr. Hans Cornehl (41) will be the sole Executive Board member of Tipp24 AG. He has already served on the Executive Board for over seven years.
Jens Schumann: 'Since the foundation of Tipp24 as a classic Internet start-up ten years ago, my colleagues and I have led the company through highs and lows prior to our admission to the SDAX index. Despite the legal uncertainties of the past few years, Tipp24 is now well equipped for the future - as demonstrated, for example, by the positive development of our business in the first half of 2009. I thus feel I have achieved my personal targets for Tipp24. However, I will continue to be available for advice and will remain in close contact, not least in my capacity as a major shareholder.'

Since 2006, Schumann has devoted much of his time to lobbying and the legal disputes of Tipp24 AG in connection with the new State Treaty on Gaming in Germany. These responsibilities were already taken over by Magnus von Zitzewitz (41) as of 1 May 2009.

The Supervisory Board and Dr. Hans Cornehl would like to thank Jens Schumann for his outstanding commitment to the company. 'Since the foundation of Tipp24 in September 1999, Jens Schumann has successfully led and shaped the company. We wish him all the best in his private life and as much success with his future business ventures as he enjoyed with Tipp24,' states Klaus Jaenecke, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Tipp24 AG.
