Please note that since 10/02/2016 the following thresholds have been crossed by CGC, all relating to indirect holdings of voting rights attaching to shares:
- On 10/02/2016 CGC crossed above a threshold of 10% with a resulting holding of 64,447,980 shares representing 10.304% of total voting rights. A TR-1 notification was submitted on behalf of CGC on 11/02/2016.
- On 08/11/2016 CGC crossed above a threshold of 11% with a resulting holding of 69,244,300 shares representing 11.006% of total voting rights. No TR-1 notification was submitted on behalf of CGC at that time.
- On 20/01/2017 CGC crossed above a threshold of 12% with a resulting holding of 75,760,542 shares representing 12.040% of total voting rights. No TR-1 notification was submitted on behalf of CGC at that time.
- On 09/02/2018 CGC crossed above a threshold of 13% with a resulting holding of 86,270,361 shares representing 13.014% of total voting rights. No TR-1 notification was submitted on behalf of CGC at that time.
- On 08/03/2018 CGC crossed above a threshold of 14% with a resulting holding of 95,241,561 shares representing 14.365% of total voting rights. The present TR-1 notification is being submit-ted on behalf of CGC in relation to this crossing.
CGC is the parent company of Capital Research and Management Company ("CRMC"). CRMC is a U.S.-based investment management company that manages the American Funds family of mutual funds. CRMC manages equity assets for various investment companies through three divisions, Capital Research Global Investors, Capital International Investors and Capital World Investors. CRMC in turn is the parent company of Capital Group International, Inc. ("CGII"), which in turn is the parent company of five investment management companies ("CGII management companies"): Capital Guardian Trust Company, Capital International, Inc., Capital International Limited, Capital International Sàrl and Capital International K.K. The CGII management companies primarily serve as investment managers to institutional clients.
