Linus Digital Finance AG expects significant decline in revenues and investment volume due to market environment and initiates proactive measures to return to profitability and strengthen liquidity

Berlin, 29 September 2022 - The combination of a sharp and significant rise in interest rates and expectations of a recession in the German economy have led to a severe deterioration of the macroeconomic environment. Responding proactively to those developments, Linus Digital Finance AG (LINUS) today decided to temporarily increase its strategic and operational focus on the real estate investment business and digital sales to existing customers, institutional partners and via B2B and B2B2C sales partnerships. In light of the volatile market environment, LINUS adopts a more cautious and selective approach to its investment activities. In this context, LINUS initiates further measures to adjust the cost base in order to achieve a return to operating profitability. The measures include a reduction in headcount in a socially responsible manner as well as steps to strengthen liquidity in order to ensure the long-term success of LINUS even in the case of a temporarily reduced investment activity.

Given the signs of a significant slowdown in the investment market, the Management Board for the full year 2022 no longer adheres to the growth projections but rather assumes a decline in revenue, investment volume and co-investment volume compared to the 2021 financial year, not least due to more selective and cautious investment decisions.
