RiC TV at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair for the first time - special conditions for advertising partners

- European, educational, non-violent: RiC TV as a Premium Partner for advertising clients who set value on high quality

- Exclusive trade fair offers for new clients with money-back guarantee

- New design visualising quality and authenticity

Munich, January 29, 2014: RiC, the educational family broadcaster, will present itself at a booth at the Nuremberg International Toy Fair for the first time from January 29 to February 3, 2014 (entrance 'Mitte', booth 4A). 'Our high-quality programmes are now being complemented with a new design which will appeal to children and grown-ups equally. Educational, calming, European - those are our guidelines,' says Stefan Piëch, CEO of Your Family Entertainment AG, which runs RiC. 'We will cater to targeted advertising clients at the Toy Fair and are even giving a money-back guarantee thanks to our strong offer.'

The RiC design will be presented for the first time at the Toy Fair with a wooden RiC birdhouse at the new exhibition booth. The RiC team has an attractive trade fair offer for interested advertising partners, with plenty of surprises at the booth. Their mascot, RiC the Raven, and the 'walking Egg'-Logo will be there as a walking act too. A RiC camera team will report on the innovations at the Toy Fair on RiC TV.

'The clarity and appealing look of the new design make the perfect setting for premium advertising customers who want to present their products in an educational and high-quality advertising environment,' Stefan Piëch continues. 'Authenticity and quality not only in the look but also in the content are paramount for us.' The key elements are the new 3D egg channel logo, broadcaster mascot RiC the Raven and his living environment: that includes the tree, his home in the tree and the surrounding nature.

RiC - the TV broadcaster with quality and standards

With European programmes and pedagogically valuable, non-violent formats, RiC offers its German-speaking audience high-quality and family-friendly content. Instead of auditory and visual 'overkill', RiC takes another route, speaking to children in their living environment, having fun, entertaining them - and it's always educational. RiC is unmistakable, above all for the red curtain which frames its programmes around the clock - and thus compensate for the 'front-row cinema effect' of increasingly large TV sets. Similarly, the daily good night story at bedtime, a 30 minutes story without pictures that helps children to calm down, fulfils a pedagogical responsibility.

Receivable via Astra Satellite and cable, on Live Stream at rictv.de, rictv.at and rictv.ch as well as via mobile TV, RiC offers more than 60% in-house or co-productions - a figure that to date is unrivalled by any other TV broadcaster.

New programmes and theme days in 2014

Well-known and beloved kids cartoons and films such as 'Little Bear', 'Amazon Jack, the Series', 'Albert, the 5th Musketeer', '@dventurers - Masters of Time' and 'Christopher Columbus', which all focus on the value of friendship, sticking together and creativity, will be shown for the first time on RiC in 2014. These programmes are exclusive to RiC on Free TV in 2014. 'Little Bear' is a lovingly illustrated pre-school animated series centring on a little bear who has adventures around the world with his friends. RiC will also present the two beloved feature films, 'Amazon Jack - Jungle Jack' and 'Amazon Jack - The Movie Star' in 2014. 'Christopher Columbus' shows the adventures of the seafaring hero when he discovered America, and in the '@dventurers' series children travel through time in search of their IT teacher and meet important figures from world history. Fun and adventure combined with knowledge transfer are thus clearly at the forefront. Alongside new formats, RiC will present various special programming over the course of the year. The broadcaster skilfully combines children's entertainment with a socially accepted system of values with theme days focusing on nutrition, the environment, family and animal protection.
