Heliad Equity Partners GmbH & Co. KGaA (ISIN DE0006047293) announces that
approximately 22,2 million new shares from the capital increase against
cash contributions were successfully placed with existing shareholders and
new institutional investors in Germany and abroad. For existing
shareholders, the subscription price was € 1.23. The issue price for the
public offering was also set at € 1.23 per share. As a result, Heliad
Equity Partners receives gross issue proceeds of approximately € 27,3
million.
The issue proceeds are to be deployed for acquiring new participations in
German growth companies and thus to the further extension and development
of the portfolio. In the remainder of 2006, the management expects one to
two further deals to be concluded and one or two successful IPOs or trade
sales to be realised.
