+++ MAGNAT Real Estate Opportunities successfully concludes placement of
capital increase
MAGNAT Real Estate Opportunities GmbH & Co. KGaA has fully placed 9.2
million new shares with existing shareholders and new, selected
institutional investors. Thus, MAGNAT now has new share capital of €32.2
million, divided into 32.2 million shares. With an issue price of €2.00 per
share, MAGNAT has generated gross proceeds on the issue of around €18.4
million. The company is planning to invest the issue proceeds in new real
estate and real estate projects. There are a large number of investment
opportunities currently in an advanced stage of examination or already
being implemented. Geographically, these investments focus on Russia, the
Ukraine and Turkey; selective and opportunistic investments in Germany are
leveraged to round off the portfolio. In total, together with other
financing rounds to date, MAGNAT has received more than €40 million in
2006. Including debt capital, the company therefore has funds at its
disposal for an investment volume of around €100 million. Heliad's
management team believes that this successful and substantial capital
increase in a market environment where other real estate IPOs are being
cancelled or postponed demonstrates the high quality and market reputation
of MAGNAT.

The discount mobile telecoms provider blau.de has been declared the test
winner by Stiftung Warentest, Germany's leading consumer protection
organisation. In particular, infrequent callers can benefit most from
choosing blau.de, as they do not need to sign a contract or pay monthly
minimum charge, and the SIM card can be simply ordered on the Internet or
bought from a sales partner. In June of this year, Heliad acquired an
interest in blau.de of around €3 million. The first thing that makes
blau.de so impressive is the experienced team that has already set up,
developed and sold handy.de to Bertelsmann. Secondly, its simple pricing
and ordering system is a hit with customers. The success of blau.de can be
seen by the strong and constant rise in the number of customers.
+++ Realtime Technologies is one of Bayern's Best 50 companies
The Munich software company Realtime Technologies (RTT) has been voted as
one of Bayern's Best 50 – the fifty fastest-growing companies in Bavaria.
RTT has developed a unique software that allows users to visualise CAD
data. Using this software, automobile manufacturers, for example, can
produce virtual prototypes or adverts for models that have not even been
built yet. RTT's customers currently include almost every automobile group,
and the company is now expanding into other sectors as well as into the US
and towards Asia. In recent years, sales have steadily increased by around
50% per year, and the number of employees has risen from just under 100 to
now more than 150. Heliad first invested in RTT shortly before it went
public in November 2005, and has since been steadily increasing its
shareholding.
