++ Closing implemented on transaction with Greenpark
++ First tranche of purchase price (EUR 28.6 million) received by Heliad
In line with the contract concluded on 3 April 2008 with funds managed by
the London based financial investor Greenpark Capital Ltd., London
('Greenpark'), the publicly listed investment company Heliad Equity
Partners GmbH & Co. KGaA ('Heliad') has successfully transferred the shares
in its portfolio companies thereby sold virtually in full and ahead of
schedule.
Heliad has accordingly received the agreed first tranche of the purchase
price, amounting to EUR 28.6 million, from Greenpark. This corresponds to
around 60% of the agreed transaction total. The remainder of the purchase
price is expected to be paid off gradually in the coming 18 months.
Background: with the transaction signed on 3 April 2008, Heliad sold a
share of almost 50% of its portfolio of companies. The sale will result in
the realisation of a profit in a low double-digit million euro range at
Heliad.
