++ Heliad changes from quarterly Net Asset Value calculation to a monthly
calculation

In the future Heliad Equity Partners is going to publish its Net Asset
Value (NAV) on a monthly basis. In the light of an increasing share of
stock quoted participations due to recent IPO activities Heliad considers a
monthly reporting of the NAV as more adequate. In 2006 alone eight
portfolio companies went public which makes Heliad to one of the most
successful private equity investors in Germany in terms of their
exit-activities.
The NAV of Heliad is related to European Private Equity Guidelines and
presents the conservative intrinsic value of the total portfolio. It is
thus an asset based valuation which does not reflect future portfolio
company developments and further value-creating investments. Hidden
reserves of unlisted companies are also not considered completely.
The NAV of Heliad as of 31.07.2006 is reported at 1.27 Euro per share
(previous month: 1.18 Euro per share).
