Medios AG appoints Mi-Young Miehler as COO

- The managing director of the subsidiaries Medios Pharma and Medios Digital is the management board's newest member (COO) starting July 1, 2017 and will be in charge of the Group's business operations.

- Yann Samson, the chairman of the supervisory board, comments: "Mi-Young Miehler has excellent know-how and brings important skills and expertise to the management team."

Berlin, June 27, 2017 - Medios AG, an expert pharmaceutical partner and solution provider in the specialty pharma segment, appoints Mi-Young Miehler as Chief Operating Officer (COO), effective July 1, 2017. The supervisory board decided this today. Ms. Miehler will manage Medios AG's business operations and continue her work as managing director of the subsidiaries Medios Pharma GmbH and Medios Digital GmbH. Her appointment means that she will join Manfred Schneider (Chief Executive Officer, CEO) and Matthias Gärtner (Chief Financial Officer, CFO) as the third member of the management board.

Yann Samson, the chairman of the supervisory board of Medios AG, comments: "With Mi-Young Miehler, we are pleased to appoint an experienced businesswoman to the management board of Medios AG. As manager of our fast-growing subsidiaries, Medios Pharma and Medios Digital, she has excellent know-how - both in the area of wholesale specialty pharmaceuticals and in the digitalization of the business. She thereby brings two important types of expertise to the supervisory team."

Ms. Miehler (48) studied business administration at the Berufsakademie (Vocational University) in Ravensburg, and Korean at Eberhard Karls University in Tübingen and at the University of London. She began her career as a strategy and marketing consultant at Schott Glas in Mainz. She next worked for Scholz & Friends Agenda GmbH in Berlin. Since 2009, she has focused on the specialty pharma market and has held management positions at Medios AG's various predecessor companies.
